Meet Daphne, the leader of our canine pack at Wise Woofs!
Our first Woof of the Week is the superstar of Wise Woofs and leader of our pack, Daphne. She is my service dog, shadow, and best bud. We started our journey together when she was 12 weeks old in Camp Verde, AZ just outside of Sedona. Daphne comes from a world-class breeder, Tre’ Good German Shepherds, and two service dog parents, Scott and Echo. Daphne was the runt of the litter but still the most rambunctious and skillful at taunting older dogs in the house. I had another dog, Harry, a 13-year-old Golden Retriever when Daphne joined the family. Harry was an amazing role model for Daphne for over 18 months and made my job a lot easier. Daphne is the first service dog I personally trained which brought my level of awareness about dog-related issues up a few tiers.
She has been a joy to work, learn and navigate the world with. My day is always better with Daphne by my side. Some of her favorite foods include eggs, beef, carrots, and smoothies. The ball is another love of Daphne’s which we integrate into all sorts of exercises. She is also a sloppy kisser and A+ cuddler. At this time, the week of Wise Woof’s launch, Daphne is preggo and expecting a litter of puppies! We look forward to showing you their early development and juicy bits from their entrance into the world. I also want to wish Daphne a Happy Birthday! She turns three years old on March 9th and we launched Wise Woofs on this day in her honor and all the lessons my dogs have taught me. She’s been an incredible gift to me in her life and I can’t wait to have more great experiences with her.
