The Dog Who Thinks She's a Cat??!!
Ryder is a 10-year-old Cavapoo, a mix of King Charles Cavalier and a miniature poodle. Ryder was added to the family to give our older dog a friend. Turns out, Ryder decided she was more of a fan of the house cat Binx.
Binx and Ryder became the best of friends, being similar in age, they grew up together. However, that led Ryder to some confusion about how a dog is supposed to act. Ryder does not play fetch, but she loves a good cat toy feather. She likes to lounge on couches and beds, and expects lots of cuddles… and we mean lots of cuddles. Ryder does not make much noise because the cat did not, leading her to be confused when the older dog barks for hours a day. When she was a puppy, Binx used to ride on her back as they played with the older dog, which doubled the trouble for him.
Ryder loves long walks and making mom and dad carry her home. She had been a picky eater for most of her life till the owners found Wise Woofs. Now that she eats dehydrated raw diets and her bowl is empty after every meal. If there is one thing we can say about Ryder, it’s that she is nothing what we expected but exactly what we needed. We look forward to many more years with our cat-dog!!!
