Meet Dax: The Handsome Man Himself
This is Dax, also known as Handsome Man, he is a one year old Husky Mix. We rescued Dax from an animal shelter in Auburn, NE. He was sent to the Polk County Humane Society when he was two months old, and we rescued him just before his first birthday. We aren’t necessarily sure what he’s mixed with but we love him all the same. Dax loves to play with his friends, and chase them around the yard. He is super talkative and quite dramatic. His favorite food/treat is peanut butter, whether its peanut butter flavored treats or peanut butter in a kong, he will devour it.
Besides that, he loves to do the sniffs. We like to take him hiking and while we take in the views, he takes in the smells. He is extremely smart and we work on new tricks everyday. Right now his favorite trick is roll over. While he is smart, he is very stubborn, and likes to do what he wants to do. When it’s snowy outside, it can be incredibly difficult to get him to come inside, as he is obsessed with playing in the snow. Dax is beyond lovable and extremely cuddly, keep in mind, when he wants too. But we love him more than anything and we wouldn’t want him to be any other way.
