Meet Bear and Zeus: The Charming Trouble Makers

Bear and Zeus are a couple of rowdy jokesters who love to tease everyone. Just by looking at them it’s easy to tell their brothers who are up to no good, but who could be mad at those piercing blue puppy eyes. Bear and Zeus are Alaskan Malamutes from a breeder in Texas – they are from the same litter and are about four years old. Although, as they get older they act more like puppies; I guess it’s sibling rivalry.

The daring duo are always full of love and energy but in most ways they’re extremely different.

Both of them love to jump around outside but only one will run away, dig holes and howl through the night. Bear is our escape artist whereas Zeus stays behind to tell on his brother.

On the other hand, Zeus is great at tricks. He always knows exactly what to do to get a treat. While Zeus is laying down, sitting and giving paw, Bear is trying to figure out what’s going on. Often, he stands extremely still and starts an intense staring contest with you. But, we give him an A for effort and he still gets his treat.

Zeus loves tug-of-war but Bear doesn’t like to share his toys. Bear is athletic while Zeus likes to lounge around. Only once in a while will they join forces – to steal food.

One thing they do have in common is their need for the spotlight. They both get very jealous very easily. Lucky for them, there’s more than enough love to go around!
